Episode 15
Open To Work and Unemployable at the Same Time
I am open to work and unemployable at the same time. I talk about Brian Clark's former project site, Unemployable (now called Leading Expert), and my search for a new freelancing gig as an individual with a solopreneurial mind. I tell about my past assignment that I have had for almost 20 years, and my new role as new media advisor, and future opportunities.

Foreign welcome to Tea Party Media Live Streaming forthcoming episode 15 of Tea
Martin:Party Media Podcast.
Martin:So testing here and see I'm saying on air on YouTube and on Facebook but not on LinkedIn.
Martin:So we'll see how it's going here.
Martin:Now I try to connect live on LinkedIn several
Martin:times but it's something maybe with the API or something else.
Martin:So reach out to Harry of Boom Caster and see how it works work in the future.
Martin:So the topic today is open to work and unemployable at the same time.
Martin:And on LinkedIn I have this circle green circle saying open to work and that expression
Martin:here I'm doing now on live with the quotation mark.
Martin:Unemployable is by a blogger named Brian Clark and he had a podcast with that name also
Martin:unemployable and now it's called Leading Expert.
Martin:And I will include here in the show notes an interview with Brian Clark on a podcast called
Martin:the 21st Century Creative Podcast talking about Brian Clark giving career advice to the
Martin:employable.
Martin:So that will be interesting to listen to and I will then do a series here with episodes about
Martin:every week about my skills, trade traits,
Martin:experiences,
Martin:knowledge in different topics as a new media advisor,
Martin:content creator, blogger, podcaster,
Martin:former purchaser,
Martin:etc.
Martin:And also I've been working as a moderator for a long time for a site called Bis Sugar owned
Martin:by Lita Campbell's Small Business Trends and now she is emeritus of that site and has
Martin:handed over solely to TechGuy there.
Martin:And so I will also include note that they have on their Bis Sugar share site and I have some
Martin:projects going on regarding advising as I said as a new media advisor for a site that I look
Martin:forward to see what will be happening, what's happening in the near future that will give a
Martin:positive impact of the Internet for the content creators regarding privacy,
Martin:how you could earn an income for what you are creating for example as an artist, a music
Martin:artist and others and also working with a community tool or as I call it like to call
Martin:it,
Martin:building a digital town hall that you could do for certain projects for different businesses
Martin:projects etc. And where you need someone that will so called grease the wheels, taking care
Martin:of staff, administration,
Martin:admin,
Martin:being a moderating, welcoming new users, onboarding, etc.
Martin:So what I want to talk a little bit about today that I've been both employed and having
Martin:a business also and I'm open for work like a freelancer in the gig economy doing it online
Martin:but also physically and part time and being at an office doing different projects and in my
Martin:field then as I said,
Martin:as a former purchaser,
Martin:as a new media advisor, content creator, etc.
Martin:And it will be interesting here that the name
Martin:here, the unemployable that Brian Clark had, that site is now calling is called Leading
Martin:Expert and they had a title there or something subject line talking about personal brand
Martin:branding.
Martin:Personal branding and thought leadership.
Martin:What's that really is.
Martin:So that's something to talk about in in the future about customer experience,
Martin:personal branding,
Martin:corporate branding.
Martin:To be an influencer in a positive way.
Martin:I call myself an intellectual nano influencer.
Martin:And the importance and the power of new media, social media and how you could use it in a
Martin:good way.
Martin:And at the same time also how to be careful what's going on here with the big tech and the
Martin:social media platforms regarding privacy, data mining and also what do we get as users of the
Martin:platform, the social media, the networks.
Martin:That's something to reflect on.
Martin:And that's why I'm a supporter of the
Martin:Podcasting 2.0 initiative.
Martin:And there it's one, especially one new service called TrueFans FM by Sam Setty and company
Martin:that I really like and I've become an active user.
Martin:They have lots of great new features.
Martin:It's positive gamification,
Martin:how much you are donating, how much you're streaming satoshis.
Martin:One Satoshi Ware is a bit of a small bit of a bitcoin.
Martin:So if you take one bitcoin and divide it 100 million times, you get one satoshi.
Martin:And also the listening time and the interaction and the comments like a super
Martin:comment that they're doing, creating a comment and then pay for that and have this
Martin:interaction with the podcasters.
Martin:And you could then also share the split with the guest and everyone that's included in a
Martin:workflow and the production of a podcast.
Martin:And this could also be applied to music and musicians, to bands etc. So this is
Martin:interesting times.
Martin:And again talking about this freedom of
Martin:expression,
Martin:the importance of support and protect, but also enhance develop the RSS feed.
Martin:That's something that I will talk more about also here on Teapoty Media Podcast.
Martin:Again, I will come back to fred here on LinkedIn and see how it could work to going
Martin:live on LinkedIn through this service called Boomcaster.
Martin:I could of course do a live event on LinkedIn, but I want to record it on Boomcaster so I
Martin:could use it also as a podcast, edit it and then make audio format of this live streaming
Martin:and then create episode, episode 15 of this live stream.
Martin:So I will come back to that and see what's going on with the live connection here on
Martin:LinkedIn.
Martin:I see here again with them connected to
Martin:Facebook and YouTube and I will try to keep this short and sweet and I have again I said
Martin:my note card here from model 1927 writing with this black wing pencil from America create a
Martin:photo there or take a photo of note card.
Martin:I will try to do this every every week, once a week short and sweet about new media, business
Martin:philosophy and the good life.
Martin:Again what I'm working on projects what I'm looking for, searching for and open for work
Martin:as I said.
Martin:And yeah with that I will say cheerio and talk
Martin:to you soon again in a week or so and keep conversation going on LinkedIn on Facebook if
Martin:you want that on YouTube and especially check out in the near future this new service called
Martin:Veo.
Martin:Value each other.
Martin:I'm one of the advices for so with that say thanks for listening watching live and then in
Martin:advance thank you for listening to the forthcoming Episode number 15 of Tea Party
Martin:Media podcast.
Martin:Bye for now.
